The Prodigy are pleased to announce the global release of World’s On Fire (CERT 15)– their first feature length live film portraying their biggest show to date from their sold out Warrior’s Dance Festival at the Milton Keynes Bowl in July 2010.

The incendiary performance – including their biggest tunes – Firestarter, Breathe ,Warrior’s Dance, Smack My Bitch Up, Omen and more – will be shown in over 70 cinemas across the UK and beyond for one night only on Thursday 31st March – see theprodigy.com for a full list of participating theatres. “A lot of thought went into the place where we could throw the best party, we never wanted the typical stadium venue so Milton Keynes Bowl was perfect for our own Warrior’s Dance Festival coz it felt like a mad party in a field. The night was massive for us. It was important to us to bring a proper festival day and night for the people to remember and bring the same intense atmosphere like when we play Brixton Academy…. and it was. With the audio for the screen version having been engineered by Liam himself in 5.1 surround sound it’ll be like standing in the crowd all over again or feeling the full force for the first time of the wall of sound and visuals. Directed by award winning documentary maker Paul Dugdale, the MKB footage was devised with heavy input and direction from the band throughout. The screenings will also be a chance for fans to see exclusive footage of the band on the big screen including a previously unseen short film taken on the road during their ‘Invaders Must Die’ tour in Brazil . This is an incredible opportunity to witness their untouchable live performance in a unique cinematic surround.

March 14, 2011 – New York, NY – Duran Duran will kick-off the second year of “Unstaged: An Original Series from American Express” on March 23rd at the Mayan Theatre in Los Angeles, Calif. The event (featuring all four original members: Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor) comes one day after the physical release of their 14-track, critically acclaimed 13th studio album ALL YOU NEED IS NOW (S-Curve Records). Duran Duran’s performance will mark the first time an artist is playing the “Unstaged” music series from Los Angeles.  Upon release, tickets for Duran Duran’s performance at the Mayan Theatre sold out in under five minutes.

Fresh from playing a blinding set at the O2 Dublin supporting ‘My Chemical Romance’, THE BLACKOUT will be hitting the road again at the end of the month for an Irish and UK tour with support from ‘The Swellers’ and ‘Hyro Da Hero’. Higher and Higher is a leap forward for them – still with the rock roots but with bigger hooks and US rapper Hyro Da Hero also appears on the track.

The single, produced by Jason Perry has already been Zane Lowes Hottest Record In The World- so much so he played it twice in one night and this week it is Fearne Cotton’s Record Of The Week on Radio 1.
