MADNESS Announce New Studio Album: Oui, Oui, Si, Si, Ja, Ja, Da, Da

Madness have today announced details of their brand new and 10th studio album ‘Oui, Oui, Si, Si, Ja, Ja, Da, Da’ (COOKCD573). The album of all brand new material will be released on October 29th (Oct 26th in Ireland). The band are also delighted to announce that the artwork for the album has been designed by the legendary British Artist Sir Peter Blake. They have also confirmed that the first single from the album will be ‘My Girl 2’ (FRYDL527), released on October 22nd. (19th in Ireland)
‘Oui, Oui, Si, Si, Ja, Ja, Da, Da’ sees the band team up with a number of new producers, the first time in their illustrious career they have decided to do so, to create an album of incredible pop songs. Fans have already been given a taste of what is to come from the album with track ‘Death Of A Rude Boy’ which was made available as a free download from their official site in August.
It has been an incredibly busy summer for the band; playing on the roof of Buckingham Palace, a number of high profile festivals and to millions of people at the London 2012 Olympic Closing Ceremony. It has also been confirmed they will appear at the iTunes Festival on September 27th
Madness have also announced further details on The House Of Fun Weekender. The event at Butlins Minehead on November 23rd to 26th will be a typically nutty Madness affair with fun, frivolity, Merriment with lots of reggae and ska to boot. For more information on the Weekender please click here.
The band are preparing themselves for the ‘Charge Of The Mad Brigade’ Winter Tour 2012. The tour, which is the band’s biggest to date, will see the them showcase tracks from the new album as well as all the fans favorite hits. The tour starts in Cardiff on Nov 30th and will take in twelve dates including two shows at London’s O2 Arena. A full list of dates is below.
