Manson told The Hollywood Reporter that the track “was the last track we just finished for my new album,” adding “I liked the themes of ‘Salem’. It looks at the witch trials without being cliche like most modern films.”

Manson‘s most recent full-length CD, “Born Villain”, his eighth overall, debuted in the Top 10 on The Billboard 200 chart. The effort earned the singer his fourth Grammy nomination at the 2013 Grammys in the Best Hard Rock/Metal Performance” category for the album’s lead single, “No Reflection”.
“Third Day Of A Seven Day Binge” is the first taste from Marilyn Manson’s forthcoming album set to arrive in early 2015. Listen and download now at MarilynManson.com.
“Third Day of a Seven Day Binge,” the equally catchy first song from his upcoming record, which is slated to come out in early 2015. The post-punkish track finds the goth-metal singer ruminating on a relationship gone sour amidst jangling guitars and his own haunting “mmmm” backup vocals. The song is available as a free download, in exchange for an email address, on his website.
In the years since Manson released his last album, 2012’s Born Villain – which contained the single “No Reflection” and featured a bonus-track cover of Carly Simon’s “You’re So Vain” with Johnny Depp on guitar – the singer has been most visible as an actor. Earlier this year, Manson made an appearance as a white supremacist named Ron Tully on Sons of Anarchy. Last year, he lent his distinctive voice to the character of Shadow on ABC’s Once Upon a Time. And in 2012, the vocalist appeared on Californication. He’s also made appearances on Eastbound and Down and Wrong Cops in recent years and contributed the song “Cupid Carries a Gun” to the series Salem.

Los Angeles, CA…Marilyn Manson continues to upend the mainstream with each new release, and his upcoming album Born Villain is about to take that a bit further on April 30th, 2012. Evidence #1, the single, “No Reflection”: http://bit.ly/mansonnoreflectionsoundcloud
KROQ debuted “No Reflection” yesterday and the lead single will be available exclusively on iTunes this Tuesday, March 13th. Blabbermouth was first to catch the premiere, reporting that the song’s chugging, faint-friendly distortion offers plenty of sonic waves for Manson to glide over reminiscent of glory-era Ministry.
“The new record put simply has the ambition and determination of how I started making music in the first place,” Manson says. “It sounds like the first record in that it’s not afraid to do anything. I had to remove myself from my lifestyle and start fresh.”
“It doesn’t really sound like any of my old records,” Manson says in an upcoming Revolver magazine cover story. “In fact it sort of sounds like what I listened to before I made records — Killing Joke, Joy Division, Revolting Cocks, Bauhaus, Birthday Party…It’s very rhythm-driven. I think this will probably be the grandest concept record of all.”
The tumultuous relationship Marilyn Manson has cultivated with the public through his genre-defying music and anti-status quo message of thinking for oneself has resulted in sold-out tours, protests, legal battles, adoration, hate, more than 50 million records sales, award-winning distilled spirits, several Grammy nominations and, most importantly, a long list of some of the most enduring and powerful singles ever, such as “Lunchbox,” “Get Your Gunn” “Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This)” “The Beautiful People,” “Antichrist Superstar,” “Tourniquet,” “The Dope Show,” “I Don’t Like the Drugs (But the Drugs Like Me),” “The Fight Song,” “Mobscene “Heart-Shaped Glasses,” “Coma White” and “If I Was Your Vampire.”
Born Villain will be released on Cooking Vinyl and Manson’s own label Hell, Etc. Marilyn Manson has had astounding success across the globe including three albums being certified platinum and three more certified gold in the USA, in addition to three top ten albums and two number-one albums (Mechanical Animals and The Golden Age of Grotesque).
