CITY AND COLOUR CONFIRMED AS BIFFY CLYRO SUPPORT ON UPCOMING UK AND IRELAND ARENA TOUR

Biffy Clyro can now confirm that City and Colour – the alias of the Canadian singer-songwriter Dallas Green – will provide the support on their upcoming UK and Ireland arena tour which commences in March.

“I’ve been a huge fan of City and Colour’s ‘Little Hell’ album since it was released last year, so I’m really excited that Dallas is joining us on tour,” said Biffy Clyro vocalist/guitarist Simon Neil.

City and Colour recently completed an extensive world tour in support of his third album ‘Little Hell’. The Canadian leg of the two sold-out in minutes and included two dates at Toronto’s prestigious Massey Hall venue. International touring has been similarly successful and included two sold out headline shows at London’s legendary Royal Albert Hall.

‘Little Hell’ debuted at #1 on the Top 200 SoundScan Chart in Canada and was certified Platinum, making it the third City and Colour album to reach that status following ‘Sometimes’ (2005) and ‘Bring Me Your Love’ (2008).  City and Colour also earned Juno Awards for Alternative Album of the Year (2007) and Songwriter of the Year (2009). In the UK, ‘Little Hell’ was named in Kerrang’s best fifty albums of 2011.

Green was recently in the studio recording the follow up to ‘Little Hell’ which is due out next year. For more information on City and Colour, please visit the official site or Facebook.
