Daytona Rose reveals brand new video for single JOYRIDE

Aine Tyrrell announces Summer Irish and UK Nationwide tour dates!!!

Irish chanteuse and wandering troubadour Aine Tyrrell, returns to her beloved Ireland for a Nationwide tour in August & Sept where she will perform at Electric Picnic and more dates around the country. Along the touring route she will be performing tracks from her brand new album ‘Return to the Sea’, a treasure-trove of contemporary narratives and musical sojourns with a solid respect for tradition, collectively fused with a passion for adventure and travelling to new lands, both real, and musical. In true Tyrrell style, recording her second album was anything but usual. In 2017 Tyrrell returned to her homeland of Ireland, to the places and the people that made her the woman she is today.

Harnessing the energy and emotion of her travels, Tyrrell joined forces with long-time producer Mark Stanley once again and explored lounge rooms, front bars, old churches, and remote islands across her Irish homeland recording and mastering in all of the nooks and crannies’ that would adapt to her portable recording studio. While recorded in Ireland, this 10-track album still carries the sand of Tyrrell’s adopted home as it was mastered and crowdfunded with one boot in the Australian red dirt.

‘Return to the Sea’ is a passionate journey as it draws from a number of styles and influences. Certainly, the traditional Irish folk is in her blood, but so too are elements of soul and rock ‘n’ roll, entwined within her lyrical testaments. Her unwavering passion for justice and integrity has led to her supporting current Women’s Rights and Indigenous Rights issues through performances, social media campaigning, song writing and public speaking engagements.

“‘Return to The Sea’ is about standing in power, owning your own skin and making sense of the shared responsibility we have as humans. The album embraces stories that have inspired me to do more than just sit and hope for change.” Said Tyrrell of the album.

“It is my call to arms. Many observations between Australia and Ireland are scattered through the tracks, but the one common thread is that together we rise in strength when one human experience can mirror and then shape our collective understanding and action.”

While the new music retains a connection with her traditional folk roots, it also finds Áine branching out – finding new sounds and a new way to tell her stories. Never one to shy away from spilling blood onto paper, her long time creative partner in crime, producer, Mark Stanley is at the production helms here, both a united force of nature on the album.

“Hope will see me Through’ is the lead single from the new album.

Irish pop artist KEHLI releases debut track ‘One Last Kiss’ + Music Video

Hailing from Dublin, 18-year old KEHLI is a vocalist and performer with a soulful, passionate and unique interpretation of contemporary pop music.  She spent her early years at stage school, where from age 5, she studied music and professional dance including contemporary, hip-hop and ballet.

Her evolving passion for music and performance encouraged a 14-year-old KEHLI to try her hands on a couple of TV music shows (usual suspects The Voice/X Factor etc.) which at such a tender age, provided invaluable experience and gained her a small cult online following.

Rehearsal footage of KEHLI singing Jorja Smith’s ‘Let me down’ made its way onto Instagram and was met by an extremely positive response with over 22K views in its first 48hrs.  This encouraged KEHLI to continue to pursue her passion for music.

It was this experience that led to an intro to producer/songwriter MSRD – now New York/London based, who’s worked closely with KEHLI to help hone her sound.  Other collaborators include the likes of London based Cameron Gower-Poole (Anne-Marie, Raye, RAY BLK) who has worked closely on KEHLI’s forthcoming debut, a soulful, edgy, pop infused EP also featuring mixes by Josh Gudwin (Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Halsey).

With KEHLI’s debut single ‘What You Like’ due this summer, the rest of the year is on track to be an exciting one for this young Irish talent and her music.

Since release, the track has gone on to receive extremely positive reviews including the following highlights:

“There’s a sensitivity to Allman Brown’s work that feels all too rare” – CLASH

“Brown’s appeal is evident via his emotionally charged vocals and thoughtful lyrics” – PopMatters

“Dust & Heat” is the latest single to be taken from UK singer-songwriter Allman Brown’s second album Darling, It’ll Be Alright, which was released on 10th May 2019. Produced by Ian Barter (Dermot Kennedy, Izzy Bizzu), it’s an acoustic pop number which showcases Brown’s preternatural vocal talent and way with an attention-grabbing chorus.

Speaking of the new album, Brown says: “It’s a really positive record. The world is in a state these days but there are still incredible things happening. A lot of people are speaking out and coming together, there’s this counterforce to the endless tide of negativity we see every day. I wanted to feed into that, offer my own counterweight. So this record is about reassurance, about me putting some positive energy into the world.”

The single and album come off the back of a whirlwind two years for Brown. Since releasing his debut album 1000 Years in February 2017, he has toured relentlessly around the globe (UK, Europe, North America and Asia) and amassed over 110 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music combined. Previous single ‘Sweetest Thing’ alone recently surpassed 47 million streams on Spotify, as well as receiving support from BBC Introducing in London and BBC Radio 2.

In May 2019, Brown completed his second North American headline tour (15 dates), before flying back home to open for Dido at her first dates in the UK and Ireland for 15 years. This led to him being invited to perform a BBC Radio 2 live session with Michael Ball on 2nd June, and the subsequent playlisiting of “Dust & Heat” on 20th July.

All this is in addition to regular placements on US and UK television: Brown’s songs have provided the soundtrack to shows such as The Good Doctor, Criminal Minds, Suits, Hollyoaks, Made In Chelsea and most recently the current season of ITV’s Love Island.
