ABOUT THE ARTIST:

Daytona Rose who hails from Dublin, Ireland but resides in NYC has just announced her brand new DOUBLE A single ‘Done Up’ &’ Joyride’.

From a young age it was evident that she loved to sing, from performing at a wedding at the age of 4 when she was flower-girl to performing solo a few years later at the the Late Late Toy Show with the National Choir.

A trained classical pianist completing all of her grades through the Royal Irish Academy of music, Daytona went on to attend the infamous Rock College in Ballyfermot, Dublin. There she learned to write songs and hone her performance craft.

Unsurprisingly, she was then chosen to do an exchange program in The Pop Academy, Hammelburg, Germany. Which set the precipice for an International music journey which would see her travel all over the world developing her music including Dubai, LA, London and where she currently resides – New York City.

For many aspiring artists alike, New York is the place to be, and it was in New York where she started recording and collaborating with some big writers such as Kevin Mc Call who is behind Chris Brown -Deuces / Stripped, Lil Eddie who has worked with Kylie Minogue and Autumn Rowe who is a vocal coach on the USA X Factor & Americas Got Talent.

Daytona is heavily inspired by peers such as Rita Ora, Jess Glyne, Little Mix, Anne Marie and Bebe Rexha. You can join over 10,000 people who are following Daytona on her journey over on her Instagram:

Irish pop artist KEHLI releases debut track ‘One Last Kiss’ + Music Video

Hailing from Dublin, 18-year old KEHLI is a vocalist and performer with a soulful, passionate and unique interpretation of contemporary pop music.  She spent her early years at stage school, where from age 5, she studied music and professional dance including contemporary, hip-hop and ballet.

Her evolving passion for music and performance encouraged a 14-year-old KEHLI to try her hands on a couple of TV music shows (usual suspects The Voice/X Factor etc.) which at such a tender age, provided invaluable experience and gained her a small cult online following.

Rehearsal footage of KEHLI singing Jorja Smith’s ‘Let me down’ made its way onto Instagram and was met by an extremely positive response with over 22K views in its first 48hrs.  This encouraged KEHLI to continue to pursue her passion for music.

It was this experience that led to an intro to producer/songwriter MSRD – now New York/London based, who’s worked closely with KEHLI to help hone her sound.  Other collaborators include the likes of London based Cameron Gower-Poole (Anne-Marie, Raye, RAY BLK) who has worked closely on KEHLI’s forthcoming debut, a soulful, edgy, pop infused EP also featuring mixes by Josh Gudwin (Julia Michaels, Post Malone, Halsey).

With KEHLI’s debut single ‘What You Like’ due this summer, the rest of the year is on track to be an exciting one for this young Irish talent and her music.

ALLMAN BROWN – “DUST & HEAT”

As Playlisted on BBC Radio 2 from 20 July 2019

This level of accomplishment would be rare in a more seasoned artist, but in a debutant it is quite breathtaking” (*****) – R2 Magazine

“There’s a sensitivity to Allman Brown’s work that feels all too rare” – CLASH

“Brown’s appeal is evident via his emotionally charged vocals and thoughtful lyrics” – PopMatters

“Dust & Heat” is the latest single to be taken from UK singer-songwriter Allman Brown’s second album Darling, It’ll Be Alright, which was released on 10th May 2019. Produced by Ian Barter (Dermot Kennedy, Izzy Bizzu), it’s an acoustic pop number which showcases Brown’s preternatural vocal talent and way with an attention-grabbing chorus.

Speaking of the new album, Brown says: “It’s a really positive record. The world is in a state these days but there are still incredible things happening. A lot of people are speaking out and coming together, there’s this counterforce to the endless tide of negativity we see every day. I wanted to feed into that, offer my own counterweight. So this record is about reassurance, about me putting some positive energy into the world.”

The single and album come off the back of a whirlwind two years for Brown. Since releasing his debut album 1000 Years in February 2017, he has toured relentlessly around the globe (UK, Europe, North America and Asia) and amassed over 110 million streams on Spotify and Apple Music combined. Previous single ‘Sweetest Thing’ alone recently surpassed 47 million streams on Spotify, as well as receiving support from BBC Introducing in London and BBC Radio 2.

In May 2019, Brown completed his second North American headline tour (15 dates), before flying back home to open for Dido at her first dates in the UK and Ireland for 15 years. This led to him being invited to perform a BBC Radio 2 live session with Michael Ball on 2nd June, and the subsequent playlisiting of “Dust & Heat” on 20th July.

All this is in addition to regular placements on US and UK television: Brown’s songs have provided the soundtrack to shows such as The Good Doctor, Criminal Minds, Suits, Hollyoaks, Made In Chelsea and most recently the current season of ITV’s Love Island.
