An evening with Eleanor McEvoy.
She invites you to join her at her intimate Dublin show on Oct 8th in The Sugar Club. (Tickets cost €15 are available HERE )
“This absolutely stunning album, has been a real find – one of the most compelling female singer-songwriters I’ve heard in a long time.” – MAVERICK*****
The album features eleven new songs, nine of which were penned by McEvoy, one co-write with former Beautiful South man Dave Rotheray and, finally, there’s a cover of “Good Times” by Sam Cooke. It is the eighth album in a twenty year career that has seen McEvoy establish herself as one of Ireland’s most accomplished singer / songwriters. The album has been mixed by Ruadhri Cushnan’ who did the breakthrough Mumford & Sons record of this year and has a willfully contemporary relevance. McEvoy is back is Top form with this new stunning release. Definitely not one to be missed. You can also tune into TODAY FM on Ian Dempseys Breakfast Show onSept 7th at about 8:30am to hear Eleanor perform the lead track “Look Like Me” from the album LIVE on air. You can also listen back to her MOONEY performance here on RTE radio1:
She will also undertake a headline tour of her own in October/November where she will be playing tracks from throughout her career but also of course from “I’d Rather Go Blonde”.
