THE RIPTIDE MOVEMENT::: single release July 23rd
Deemed as one of Ireland’s HOTTEST acts right now, TRM are in the midst of a National radio tour and have a list of dates coming up including The Electric Picnic, Glasgowbury, Indiependence and a list of others. Before that, they release their new single “Hard To Explain” on JULY 23RD the track already spent 3 weeks in The Top 50 Official Irish Charts.
The Riptide movement (also known as TRM) are a four piece rock band who formed in 2006, all hailing from the Capital. With three successive Official Irish Charting singles (taken from their debut “What about the tip jar”) along with over 14,000 units sold to fans the Nation over, they are now ready to release fourth single ‘HARD TO EXPLAIN’, which is taken from their new album set to be released in Feb 2011 (titled HOT TRAMP). TRM have recently performed their music on Today FM, FM104, 98FM, Dublin’s Country Mix + lots more and will continue to grace the radio waves over the summer months.
GIGS: The Riptide Movement invites you to ride the crest of a new wave, back from the south of France and fresh from a recording spree in the Grouse Lodge recording studios, the bands are putting the finishing touches onto the eagerly anticipated follow up album “Hot Tramp”. The band will perform a list of shows Nationwide including appearances at the Sea Sessions, Glasgowbury, Indiependence and Electric Picnic this Year, as well as a tour of Germany in October 2010. One of their strongest word of mouth endorsements IS their Live show. Surely not to be missed. It should also be noted that one of the band members wanted to be Jesus when he grew up.
