Quite possibly the quirkiest and coolest band’s hot-on-the-trot right now is Laois outfit Adela & The Meanits.
They have one week left as they prepare to venture off on their 32 county Tour of Ireland in the month of August on Their ‘Long Road Home Tour’. They will visit towns, pubs, venues, coffee houses and more on their journey, capturing the spirit and community of every town in Ireland. Along the way they will perform tracks from their new album ‘Kinda Wild’, and will also play some well loved Irish Classics.
“Andy is a song I wrote after a male friend of mine tried on my mothers clothes. The idea of both a male and female persona intrigued me and gave me the idea of this character; Andy”- Says lead singer Adela Meally.
The video’s story line follows ‘Demi Whore’, a well known Dublin Drag Queen, as she sets off on an interview for a job, in both personas of ‘Andy’. Bold and efficaciously fun, this charming song and video is taken from the album ‘Kinda Wild’ which will be released in the August 2012 in support of the Long Road Home tour the band will be taking on which involves playing 32 gigs in the 32 counties of Ireland in the month of August.

"Since we hired Good Seed PR we have seen a dramatic increase in the amount of PR we’re getting for our artists in Ireland. The service and reporting we’re getting from Linda is spot on. She’s helpful, professional and on the ball, and our artists love her. I’m not sure I should be saying this, as she’s so good, I don’t really want to share…" - Anette Collins
