Meet The Blue are a Irish/Canadian indie band based in Toronto, This powerhouse trio creates quirky pop music with a hint of 80’s charm, described as post punk or indie rock front man Darragh O’ Sullivan (vocals/guitars/synth) has been honing his own sound with his off beat and unforgivingly catchy tunes since moving from Limerick to Canada in 2003. Dave McArthur on drums and Alex Smith on bass create a powerful and exciting live performance.
Releasing music since the early 2000’s MTB has been knocking on the door while building a following along the way, putting out their first official self release EP in 2012 called “Flux”…with the main single “Shut up and Dance”  gaining the band some recognition and a spot on the Budweiser Future Sounds of Irish Music project in 2013. Since then MTB has been playing shows and festivals in Canada and are set to release their most exciting EP to date this summer. Meet The Blue’s new song “Fire” was chosen to be TodayFM’s Song of the Week. And is available from all digital outlets. Their upcoming self titled EP, will be released July 21st 2017.
