Conor Hamilton Announces brand new EP “Give it a Go” Out Dec 5^th 2014

Conor Hamilton has just announced the release of his follow up EP ‘Give it a Go’ which precedes his May 2013 Single ‘Daydreamer’, which generated a strong word of mouth endorsement of his live shows in the local communities along with media appearances and a Top 20 Chart position.

Conor, who is now only 16, began playing guitar at the age of 7 and it was with a natural fond affinity for music and performing that lead him to further explore his creative side. After honing in his craft with music lessons and later with speech and drama, it seen him progress from small community gigs to sharing the centre stage with some of Irelands well known luminaries such as Damien Dempsey.

Once in the spot light, it wasn’t long before he moved onto other areas of the entertainment industry where he landed a role in RTE, Ireland’s national broadcasting Channel, as a presenter in Young Peoples department. He has presented/interviewed for them for 4 years roughly, and in that time he has interviewed stars such as Rizzle Kicks, Damien Dempsey, Colin Farrell and Jessica Biel to name but a few.

From performing on live Television, Radio and other media platforms to selling out the Academy recently in Dublin – it’s clear to see that this new release will further add to the stepping stone of his career.

‘You’ve got it in you’  and ‘Over Kill’ are two of the four leading tracks from the EP which was mixed and recorded by The Script’s music producer Mick Heffernan and is set to be released on the 5th of December. Conor will headline The Academy2 on the 6th of December and on the 7th will be supporting Damien Dempsey in concert.
