Katie & The Carnival record music for TV Advert + Release new single ‘Fancy Face’!

Katie and the Carnival are an energetic and engaging group hailing from Belfast. Fronted by the transcendental Katie Richardson; the stereotype of the quirky female vocalist. Katie creates the kind of smokey jazz that Norah Jones might make if you snuck a load of vodka in her diet coke!

The bands music is soulful and harmoniously driven with influences from folk, pop, jazz, rock and a little bit of dark cabaret!

K&TC recently recorded and arranged the track ‘Bring me Sunshine’ for a Dale Farm advert, which began its TV run in the Summer of 2011.

Well done to Henrietta Game for being shortlisted for RTE Breakthrough folk Act of 2011

Well done to Henrietta Game the band that the Irish Independent hailed as the Irish Arcade Fire! After having a very prominent buzz around the release of their debut album ‘Black Ship’ this year, and receiving critical Acclaim along side being awarded RTE Radio 1 Album Of The Week; they were recently shortlisted as the TOP 3 Breakthrough folk acts of 2011. The band being shortlisted so early in their career is a sign of great things to come.

Original Rudeboys to play Swan Lane Sun 27th November

Hailing from Dublin’s North inner city, The Original Rudeboys formed in early 2011. Taking their name from a T-shirt rhyme master Neddy was wearing at an impromptu house party gig, the band have created a unique and refreshing sound combining guitar and ukelele with soulful vocal melodies and street smart lyrical word-flow. The viral smash ‘Stars In My Eyes’ out now on iTunes download.

Wonder Villains enjoying radio success in Ireland and BBC RADIO1 in the UK.

The Wonder Villains have soared high above teen angst and anger. Having just completed their A-Levels they’re now busy dishing out helpings of joyful, blistering anti-pop, while finding out how high they can push the distortion on their homemade keyboard sounds. Single ‘Zola’ has recently been serviced to Radio in Ireland and The UK and with much buzz about them, for an indie act they are rising and have come in as one of the TOP 5 chart radio entries this week. Along with R.E.M, One Direction + The Saturdays.

They have also been getting spins over in the UK on BBC Radio1, a high coup for an Indie band!
