Here comes an opportunity for bands Nationwide to take a huge leap forward with their music. With few or no record deals available in the current musical climate, we understand the importance of recording contracts, cash prizes and musical equipment. The All Ireland Battle of the Bands prize can really give local bands that financial lift off the ground.
The All Ireland Battle of the Bands is open to bands NATIONWIDE.
Crystal Consultants Hospitality Ltd. and the creative media team behind Urmuzic.com are the force launching this extravagant battle of the bands. Qualifying heats of 3 bands per night will kick off on Thursday 17TH Sept 2009. Taking a break over Christmas and New Year the heats will run each Thursday, weekly for 20 weeks. Each week will produce a winner for the quarterfinals. The 5 weeks of Quarter Finals, which commence Feb 25th 2010, will produce 5 bands all going through, plus 1 Wild Card Band voted by the public on www.urmuzic.com A 6 band Semi Final will take place on April 1st and the Grand Final will take place on April 8th 2010.
The Battle will take place at The Lough Erne Hotel, Kesh. Situated in the heart of Fermanagh the hotel provides a great central position for this All Ireland Event, with a fabulous function room, that can accommodate up to 450 people. There is a £3000 cash Prize for the winning band, a recording contract for a two song EP, equipment vouchers for Belfast Guitar Emporium and possible management contract.
